Filipino boxing standout Froilan “The Sniper” Saludar is gearing up for a high-profile match in the upcoming Kings Clash event scheduled for November 15 at The Agenda Dubai. This event, organized by Kings Corner and spearheaded by Kawthar Halbi, the first Arab female boxing promoter, promises an exciting evening of competitive bouts featuring international talent.
Saludar, a veteran known for his power and determination in the ring, is set to face the undefeated Williams Flores of Colombia in a significant WBA-sanctioned belt fight. With an 18-0 record and 13 knockouts, the 25-year-old Flores presents a formidable challenge. This match holds high stakes as they contend for the vacant World Boxing Association (WBA) International Bantamweight title.
Saludar’s career has been marked by impressive achievements since his professional debut in 2009, where he earned regional titles, including the WBO Asia Pacific Youth Flyweight and WBO Youth Flyweight championships. He notably challenged Sho Kimura for the WBO flyweight title in 2018 and claimed the OPBF bantamweight title with a first-round knockout victory over Japan’s Keita Kurihara in October 2023. However, Saludar faced a setback in January 2024, losing the title in a rematch with Kurihara.
The Kings Clash event, which includes performances by artists such as Freek and DJ Liutik, promises an action-packed night as Saludar aims to leverage his experience and tactical skills to secure victory and boost his global ranking.
