Victorias City Mayor Javi Benitez has confirmed his breakup with actress Sue Ramirez, disclosing that their relationship ended four months ago. Benitez made the announcement through his social media channels on Saturday, November 9, a day after Ramirez and fellow actor Dominic Roque were reportedly seen sharing a kiss in Siargao.
Reflecting on their five-year relationship, Benitez expressed that they built “a world of [their] own,” filled with love, laughter, and the shared experiences of two individuals from different backgrounds. “For the last five years, as Inday Sue and Toto Javi, two Negrosanons from different worlds, we built a world of our own. It was full of love, dreams, laughter, and all the ups and downs in a relationship where you shared your life with someone,” he shared.
The mayor emphasized that the end of their relationship was mutual and free of external influences. “Four months have passed since our paths quietly and respectfully went their separate ways,” he said, expressing gratitude for the moments they shared.
Benitez also praised Ramirez, calling her “a beautiful soul, a gem in the entertainment world and a true talent.” He added, “I wish her nothing but happiness and the love she deserves. Here’s to those good times, held close to my heart and to the grace of whatever lies ahead.”
The politician concluded his statement with well wishes for the actress’s continued success, saying, “I hope she continues to share her God-given talent with many more, touching lives as she has touched mine.”
Ramirez has yet to issue any statement regarding their breakup or the recent reports involving her and Roque.
