Dubai ruler calls for unified flag-raising ceremony on UAE Flag Day

As UAE Flag Day approaches, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, has urged all ministries and institutions to raise the UAE flag together at 11:00 AM on November 1.

In a recent tweet, Sheikh Mohammed expressed the deep symbolism of the event, stating, “We celebrate the symbol of our country, the secret of our strength, and the source of our pride: the flag of the United Arab Emirates.”

Highlighting the significance of Flag Day as a mark of unity and national pride, the Dubai Ruler invited “all sons of the nation to participate in this occasion.” He noted that the day stands as a testament to the UAE’s love for the nation and dedication to preserving the “pride, glory, and dignity” of the country’s union.
