Etihad Airways has announced the cancellation of select flights between Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport (AUH) and Kuwait (KWI) from October 30 to November 2, citing reasons beyond its control. The affected flights include EY 651 from Abu Dhabi to Kuwait and EY 652 from Kuwait to Abu Dhabi, which will be temporarily suspended for the four-day period.
According to a Khaleej Times report, the airline is actively assisting impacted travelers, offering alternative flights or full refunds. Passengers affected by the changes have been notified directly by Etihad. The airline encourages travelers to verify their contact details on the Etihad website at etihad.com/manage to receive timely updates through SMS or email.
Alternative flights will continue operating between Abu Dhabi and Kuwait on certain dates, including EY 657, EY 655, and EY 653 from Abu Dhabi to Kuwait, as well as EY 656, EY 654, and EY 658 for those traveling from Kuwait to Abu Dhabi.
