The Migrant Workers Office (MWO) in Dubai has issued an updated advisory regarding its upcoming closure in observance of All Saints’ Day on Friday, November 1, 2024. The office closure aligns with an announcement from the Philippine Consulate General in Dubai and will impact services for certain workers needing document verification before their scheduled appointments or flights.
The MWO-Dubai advises affected workers to make necessary arrangements according to the updated schedule below:
- Workers with confirmed appointments on November 1, 2024: These individuals can visit MWO-Dubai from October 29-31, November 4-7 (7:30 AM to 2:30 PM), or on November 8 (7:30 AM to 11:00 AM) for assistance.
- Workers with confirmed flights between November 1-4, 2024: These individuals are advised to visit MWO-Dubai between October 29-31, 2024, from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM.
- Workers with confirmed flights on or after November 4, 2024, without verified documents: Authorized representatives may visit MWO-Dubai on behalf of these workers five days before their flight back to the UAE or three days before their Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) appointment in the Philippines.
