Angelica Yulo has expressed her full support for her younger siblings, Eldrew and Elaiza Yulo, as they embark on their gymnastics journey in Japan. The two are training under Coach Munehiro Kugimiya, the same coach who guided their elder brother, two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo.
On Tuesday, KG Management Inc. shared photos of Eldrew and Elaiza with Coach Kugimiya, calling it a sign of fate. “It seems like fate that they would be trained by the same person who contributed to shaping the recognition of gymnastics in the Philippines,” the management group said in a Facebook post.
Coach Kugimiya, known for his role in Carlos Yulo’s success, hopes the siblings can train with ease. “I hope the two of them can be at ease and train with no worries here,” he said.
The Yulo siblings have already made their mark in local and national gymnastics competitions, drawing inspiration from Carlos, who introduced them to the sport during his training sessions. Their mother, Angelica, shared her excitement on social media, writing, “Lezzgo kids!” as she cheered them on.
