UAE residents warned of low visibility due to foggy conditions

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) issued a yellow alert early Monday, cautioning UAE residents about fog that could reduce horizontal visibility until 9:30 AM. In some internal areas, visibility may decrease further, posing a hazard for morning commuters.

Abu Dhabi Police also urged drivers to lower their speed and follow road safety instructions displayed on electronic screens to ensure safety during the foggy conditions.

While skies are expected to remain generally fair to partly cloudy across the country, clouds could appear in the eastern, northern, and southern regions, with a chance of convective development in some areas.

Humidity will rise, with levels reaching 90% in coastal areas, which could lead to more fog or mist formation overnight and into Tuesday morning. Winds will remain light to moderate, with occasional fresh gusts. Temperatures will range from a high of 37°C in Abu Dhabi and Dubai to a low of 17°C in mountainous areas.
