Alden Richards opens up about ‘deep connection’ with Kathryn Bernardo amid dating rumors

Alden Richards has finally addressed the question on whether he is romantically pursuing Kathryn Bernardo. During a behind-the-scenes exclusive of Fast Talk hosted by Boy Abunda, the King of Talk directly asked Alden if there was truth to the rumors.

Although Alden did not give a clear answer, he shared that his connection with Kathryn is “very deep.” He explained, “What we have now… I should say, it’s really deep. Since I got the chance to know her personally, I’ve discovered so much about her — the similarities and differences in how we view life.”

He also expressed his appreciation for how open Kathryn has been with him, saying, “I really appreciate the things she opens up to me about, welcoming me into her life. And of course, I’ve also met her family.”

When asked if he had been formally introduced to Kathryn’s family, Alden revealed, “I visit her house whenever our schedules allow.”

Showbiz insider Ogie Diaz previously mentioned that Kathryn’s family, particularly her mother, has a fondness for Alden. Diaz shared that the family admires Alden for being a businessman, financially stable, and responsible, traits they hope for in a partner for Kathryn.

Meanwhile, the pair is set to reprise their roles as Joy and Ethan in the upcoming movie Hello, Love, Again, premiering in cinemas on November 13.
