Sophisticated French-Italian cuisine is coming to the Emirates courtesy of Argianos, a new luxury fine-dining concept set to open in the heart of the city at Conrad Dubai.
Argianos opened its doors on October 3 and elevated the Downtown dining scene with its own unique fusion of dishes inspired by the Maritime Alps and Mediterranean. With a menu curated by Torino-born Head Chef Alessandro Bertinetti, it featured classics with a modern twist, such as Coastal Clam and Shrimp Linguine, Ravioli alla Norma, and handmade Gnocchi al Pomodoro e Basilico. Guests could also select from a wide range of prime cuts of meat, with a focus on beef and lamb.
Bertinetti said: “Argianos truly offers something different here in Dubai and we can be proud of our menu, which celebrates the rich culinary heritages of both Italy and France. Our goal is to deliver a dining experience that is both memorable and delightful, blending traditional flavours with modern culinary techniques.”
Slapsy, an adjoining late-night lounge located within Argianos, meanwhile will embody the essence of Hollywood’s golden age. Promising an exclusive feel, the chic venue offers guests a sophisticated hideaway replete with cigar lounge, signature beverages, and celebrity charm – all inspired by LA’s notable 1950s nightclub Slapsy Maxie’s, which was frequented by A-listers such as Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis.
Argianos will be open for fine dining daily from 4 PM to 11 PM, excluding Sundays. While the late night club Slapsy will be open 10 PM to 3 AM on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Slapsy aims to quickly establish itself as a key venue in Dubai’s nightlife scene, offering guests live entertainment from jazz bands, singers, and comedians. With elegant décor, plush furnishings, and dramatic lighting, it will also offer a curation of premium cigars and an exclusive range of cocktails and spirits, including the Slapsy Punch, a bold and refreshing blend with a secret twist, and the Caramelised Peach Bellini, made with homemade peach purée.

Both Argianos and Slapsy are heavily influenced by artificial intelligence, with diners treated to visual on-screen storytelling that evolves with the ambience. The three-dimensional AI-generated video displays will create a memorable fine dining experience, enhancing each meal with a captivating backdrop. For guests seeking privacy, the restaurant features a private dining room, ideal for business meetings, family celebrations, or intimate gatherings.
