The New NAIA Infrastructure Corp. (NNIC), which assumed control of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) on September 14, has significantly increased meet and assist service fees, raising them from P800 to P8,000 per person.
Alongside this hike, NNIC has introduced three new service packages. These options include a P50,000 package for up to nine passengers, a P100,000 package for groups of 10 to 20 passengers, and a P140,000 package for 21 to 30 passengers.
The NNIC also announced that VIP Lounge accommodations are available for groups of up to 10 people, with additional guest passes available for three to four individuals. If the number of guests exceeds 10, an extra P201.60 per person will be charged.
Additionally, parking fees at NAIA were increased starting October 1, following the transition of management. NNIC explained that the adjustments were made to improve facilities and prevent non-passengers from using parking spaces for extended periods. The corporation, led by San Miguel, emphasized that the changes aim to enhance the overall passenger experience at the airport.
