A 67-year-old Syrian expat from Al Ain, Ali Akram Arabo, has become a millionaire after winning $1 million in the Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire draw. Arabo, who has lived in Al Ain for over 35 years, won the prize with ticket number 3893, which he purchased online on September 30. A regular participant in the promotion for more than 15 years, Arabo expressed his gratitude, saying, “Finally, after many years, thank you Dubai Duty Free.”
In the same event, the Dubai Duty Free Finest Surprise draw awarded luxury cars and motorbikes. Indian nationals Rajiv Lakhotia, from Hyderabad, and Jothibhasu Madhavan, from Sharjah, won Mercedes Benz cars. Meanwhile, Shihabudeen M from Dubai and Saidu Mohamed from Jordan took home BMW motorbikes.
All winners were regular participants in the promotion, with many expressing their surprise and excitement at their wins.
