Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Lebanon closed their airspace on Tuesday following missile strikes by Iran targeting Israel.
Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport suspended all flights as explosions were heard across the country, according to a spokesperson. Later in the day, Israeli authorities reopened the airspace, stating that normal flight operations would resume shortly.
Jordan, Iraq, and Lebanon also imposed temporary flight suspensions due to the rising tensions. Lebanon’s Transport Minister Ali Hamie confirmed that their airspace would remain closed for two hours.
Iran’s Revolutionary Guards claimed responsibility for the missile attack, describing it as retaliation for the deaths of Haniyeh, Nasrallah, and Nilforoushan.
