The UAE government has announced lower fuel prices for October 2024, marking a decrease of 24 fils per litre compared to September. The Ministry of Energy, in collaboration with the Fuel Prices Monitoring Committee, adjusts the prices monthly based on global oil rates and the operating costs of distribution companies.
Starting October 1, the new rates are as follows: Super 98 petrol at Dh2.66 per litre, Special 95 petrol at Dh2.54, and E-plus 91 petrol at Dh2.47. This reduction means motorists can save between Dh12.24 and Dh17.76 on a full tank, depending on their vehicle.
