Dismissed Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo will be transferred from the PNP custodial facility in Camp Crame to the Pasig City Jail Female Dormitory, where she will share a cell with one of the co-accused of Kingdom of Jesus Christ Pastor Apollo Quiboloy. This was confirmed by the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) on Sunday.
BJMP Spokesperson JSupt. Jayrex Bustinera said preparations for Guo’s transfer are complete. “Handa na ‘yung paglalagyan niya, na-check na din ‘yung mga possibly niyang makasama,” Bustinera shared during an interview with Teleradyo Serbisyo.
Guo’s legal counsel, Atty. Nicole Jamilla, has filed an urgent motion with the Pasig Regional Trial Court to request that Guo remain at the PNP facility due to the high-profile nature of her cases. However, the team is preparing for the possibility that their request may not be granted.
Guo continues to deny allegations linking her to criminal syndicates, particularly the Chinese triad. “Sabi niya, sasagutin niya… clear siya na wala siyang kinalaman sa matrix o alleged gang na kino-connect sa kanya,” Jamilla said.
There has been no update on the whereabouts of Guo’s brother Wesley, who remains unreachable according to her legal counsel.
