Philippines passport offers visa-free access to 67 countries, ranks 72nd in latest index

The Philippines has secured the 72nd spot in the September 2024 Henley Passport Index, offering visa-free access to 67 destinations globally. The Henley Passport Index ranks the world’s passports based on how many countries holders can access without the need for a prior visa. This ranking considers entry without a visa, with visa-on-arrival, or through an electronic travel authorization (eTA).

Singapore continues to dominate the top spot, with its passport allowing visa-free access to 195 countries. Following closely, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, and Spain tie for second place, providing visa-free entry to 192 destinations. The third place includes countries like Austria, Finland, Ireland, Luxembourg, Sweden, the Netherlands, and South Korea, granting access to 191 destinations.

The rankings are compiled using data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and are updated quarterly, offering insights into each country’s global mobility.
