Three lucky residents, hailing from India and Lebanon, have each won Dh100,000 in Big Ticket’s weekly e-draw, part of the ongoing September promotion, Khaleej Times reported.
Fouad Khalife, a 51-year-old agriculture engineer from Beirut, has been living in Dubai since 2014. He has been consistently buying Big Ticket for the past five years, purchasing 1-2 tickets monthly. Upon winning, he expressed his joy, stating that his winnings are dedicated to his family. “I will keep buying tickets, and my focus is on winning the Dh20 million grand prize,” he said.
Another winner, Asana, a 60-year-old credit specialist from Chennai, has been purchasing Big Ticket for over two decades. Despite not winning for years, he remained optimistic, and his persistence finally paid off. Asana plans to use his winnings to support his son’s further education.
Basheer, a 44-year-old driver and salesman from Tamil Nadu, has been in Dubai since 2004. Along with 20 co-workers, he has been buying Big Tickets for 10 years. Basheer was thrilled to share the prize with his family and colleagues, saying it motivated them to continue buying tickets.
Big Ticket customers have until September 30 to purchase tickets and stand a chance to win the Dh20 million grand prize on October 3. Ticket purchases also enter buyers into weekly draws held every Tuesday.
