The monthly internet cost in the country averages $4.8, making it significantly more affordable than the United States, where the cost is $28.8. Among East and Southeast Asian nations, the Philippines boasts the fourth-lowest internet cost.
Globally, Sierra Leone holds the title for the most affordable internet at $1.7, while Barbados ranks as the most expensive at $32.0 per month.
The Big Byte Index evaluates internet affordability based on how countries compare to the U.S., which has been indexed at 100.
