Sibol Dota 2, the Philippines’ national esports team, has qualified for the 2024 International Esports Federation (IESF) World Esports Championship after dominating the SEA/South Asia qualifiers. The team achieved a clean sweep in the group stage, defeating Malaysia, India, and Nepal.
The championship will be held from November 11 to 19 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with a prize pool of USD 160,000. The tournament will feature a round-robin group stage followed by double-elimination playoffs.
