London tops UAE fall travel destinations as searches soar by 200%

UAE residents are taking advantage of significant savings this Fall, with travel bookings increasing and costs dropping by up to 45%, according to new data from Expedia. Those who booked trips during the last days of October and mid-November managed to save the most, compared to pricier periods earlier in the season.

London remains the top international destination, with searches for the city surging by 200%. Domestically, Ras Al Khaimah saw an 85% spike in searches, drawing travelers eager to escape to the Northern Emirates and enjoy its attractions, including the recently opened Anantara Mina Al Arab Resort.

Expedia also noted a rise in searches for other international hotspots like Paris, New York, and Singapore, along with Mediterranean islands such as Ibiza and Mykonos. These destinations are popular for their beaches and nightlife, driving a 160% increase in interest among UAE travelers.

Long-haul destinations like Chicago and Boston are also gaining attention, with travelers drawn to their cooler climates and renowned culinary scenes. Expedia’s data further suggests that booking flights and accommodations during less busy periods, such as October 13–22, offers the best savings.
