Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has given the green light to a major project aimed at constructing and renovating mosques throughout the city. The initiative, which carries a budget of Dh800 million, will see 100 mosques built and replaced in various areas of Sharjah.
Out of the total, 60 new mosques will be constructed, while 40 existing mosques will undergo replacement as part of the project, enhancing the city’s spiritual infrastructure.
