A 22-year-old grocery delivery worker received Dh5 million in compensation after a devastating car accident left him completely paralysed, Khaleej Times reported. The landmark ruling, according to his legal team, is expected to provide critical financial support for his ongoing medical treatment.
Shifin Ummer Kummali suffered from total paralysis due to the accident. Although the Dubai court issued the ruling last month, the compensation was officially handed over to his parents during a conference held on Monday. The funds will aid in Kummali’s efforts to regain some of his physical abilities.
