St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Oud Metha, Dubai, will hold a special celebration for the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary on Sunday, September 8, 2024. The event will begin with a concelebrated High Mass at 6:15 PM, followed by a cultural program at the Portico. All parishioners are invited to join in the celebration.
In addition, the church has announced several upcoming events:
- The Tamil Community will celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Good Health Velankanni on Friday, September 13, at 7:30 PM with a solemn High Mass. A novena will be held daily from September 4 to 12 at 7:30 PM.
- The Filipino Community invites everyone to “Harana Kay Maria 2024” on Sunday, September 15, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the Bp. Gremoli Hall. The event is themed “Our Vow Through the Virtues of Mary.”
- The Samaritan Ministry is organizing various courses, including IELTS, Spoken Arabic, and more. For details and registration, visit the church website.
- A seminar on the importance of registering a Will in the UAE will take place on September 21 at Bishop Paul Hall. Registration is available online.
- AVOSA YAM is organizing a pilgrimage to Rome for the Jubilee of Youth in July 2025. Young adults aged 18 to 35 can register until September 15, 2024.
