Vice Ganda mourns passing of loyal fur baby, Chip In, after six years

Vice Ganda recently shared her grief over the passing of her beloved dog, Chip In. Vice took to social media to express her sorrow, revealing the deep bond she shared with her loyal companion over the past six years.

In an emotional Instagram post on August 22, Vice Ganda wrote about the joy and comfort Chip In brought into her life. “You were my source of joy when I was so down. You made me look forward to coming home from a very exhausting day,” she shared, highlighting the special connection they had.

The comedian also recounted how Chip In stood by her during difficult times, offering unconditional love and support. “You kissed me when I was crying,” she added, emphasizing the emotional comfort her dog provided.

When Chip In fell ill, Vice Ganda asked her to fight, admitting she wasn’t ready to say goodbye. “But today, I guess it’s really time to say goodbye and let you run and play in heaven,” she wrote, marking the heartbreaking moment of farewell.

Fellow celebrities, including Bela Padilla, Pokwang, Ogie Alcasid, and Angeline Quinto, extended their condolences in the comments, showing their support for Vice during this difficult time.

In a 2018 episode of “It’s Showtime,” Vice Ganda had previously spoken about the “real love” she felt from Chip In, who always waited for her at the door, even when others might leave.

Vice Ganda’s tribute to her “baby” highlights the deep emotional connection between pets and their owners, a bond that transcends the label of just being a pet.
