A new beach exclusively for women is set to open in Sharjah’s Lulu’iya area of Khorfakkan, following orders from Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah. The 500-meter beach will ensure complete privacy for women and will include amenities such as a café, medical clinic, and prayer room.
Additionally, the Sharjah Ruler has ordered the construction of a pedestrian bridge to connect the Al Bardi 6 and Al Batha areas in Khorfakkan city. This new bridge is expected to improve the movement of residents between these areas. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) will also implement modifications to the internal roads in the Hayawa area, according to Yousef Khamis Al Othmani, Chairman of RTA Sharjah, who discussed the developments on the Sharjah’s Direct Line radio programme.
