Prepare your tissues, as Studio Ghibli’s poignant war drama “Grave of the Fireflies” is finally coming to Netflix on September 16.
This marks the first time the heart-wrenching story of orphaned siblings Seita and Setsuko, set during the final months of the Pacific War, will be available on the platform.
Until now, it has been the only Studio Ghibli film absent from Netflix’s extensive collection, which includes beloved titles like “Spirited Away,” “Howl’s Moving Castle,” and “The Wind Rises.”
