Iconic Filipino musician Ely Buendia has just released a new track titled “Bulaklak Sa Buwan,” showcasing his signature songwriting prowess. The song, filled with introspective lyrics, encourages listeners to find happiness within themselves rather than seeking it in far-fetched fantasies.
“Bulaklak Sa Buwan” is the lead single from Buendia’s upcoming solo album, “Method Adaptor,” set to launch on November 8, 2024, under Offshore Music. The album, consisting of 10 tracks, was largely composed in just three months this year, with recording completed in two weeks.
In a recent livestream, Buendia expressed his enthusiasm for the new album, describing it as “a very, very good album” that blends elements of alternative pop, punk, and rock. He chose “Bulaklak Sa Buwan” as the first single for its catchy sound and its ability to encapsulate the essence of the album.
Buendia’s fans in Dubai can look forward to hearing the new song live during his much-anticipated concert at the Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo City, on December 8, 2024.
“I think ‘Bulaklak Sa Buwan’ has a nice ring to it. It kind of describes me and the whole album,” Buendia shared. “It’s fun, upbeat, and relatable.”
As excitement builds for both the album and the concert, Buendia also revealed that a documentary titled “Combo On The Run,” directed by Maria Diane Ventura, will be released on Netflix before the end of the year.
