Filipino athlete John Cabang Tolentino is determined to keep his Olympic dreams alive after narrowly missing a direct semifinal berth in the men’s 110m hurdles at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
Competing at the Stade de France, Tolentino finished sixth in his heat with a time of 13.66.659, placing him 32nd out of 40 competitors in the initial qualifying round.
Although he did not secure an automatic spot in the semifinals, Tolentino now looks forward to the repechage round, where he will have another chance to advance and continue his quest for Olympic glory.
