Early this morning, DMW Secretary Hans Cacdac and OWWA Administrator Arnell Ignacio joined forces to assist Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) stranded at NAIA Terminal 3 due to a global cyber outage affecting flights.
Despite the challenging situation, the officials acted swiftly to ensure the comfort and safety of the stranded OFWs. Fortunately, the newly opened OFW Lounge at Terminal 3 was available to accommodate them. The lounge provided free food, Wi-Fi, and resting areas to ease their inconvenience.
Departing OFWs are advised to monitor updates from their airlines and arrive early at the airport to avoid any potential issues.
