Actor Gerald Anderson has given a strong indication that marriage might be on the horizon. During an appearance on Karen Davila’s YouTube vlog on June 6, Anderson discussed the possibility of tying the knot soon.
“Actually, malapit na,” Anderson shared, giving Davila a high five. When Davila sought confirmation, he reiterated, “Malapit-lapit na. Siyempre, 35 na po ako.”
The actor explained, “We’ll see, we’ll see… I’m closer to that. Kasi kung five, three years ago tanungin niyo sa akin ‘yan, ‘Hindi, hindi.'”
Anderson also discussed his motivation behind his business ventures and showbiz career, stating, “That’s why I’m doing all of this kasi gusto kong maalagaan ang mga anak ko na wala silang iisipin.” He added that while he aims to provide for his future children, he doesn’t intend to spoil them.
Reflecting on his journey, Anderson remarked, “Everything I do in life is leading up to, you know, sa aspeto na ‘yan,” referring to married life.
Back in 2021, Anderson expressed his desire to settle down and start a family but admitted he wasn’t ready yet, as he still had a lot to learn.
Currently, Anderson is in a relationship with actress Julia Barretto. The couple confirmed their romance in 2021 after sparking dating rumors in 2019 following the release of their movie “Between Maybes.”
