Flydubai has announced the cancellation of all flights departing from Dubai on April 16 until 10 am on April 17, in response to severe weather conditions. The decision, effective immediately, comes as heavy rains battered the Emirates on Tuesday.
In a statement to Khaleej Times, a spokesperson for the airline stated, “Passengers who do not have Dubai as their final destination will not be accepted for travel during this period.” The airline aims to monitor the situation closely and adjust its schedule accordingly to restore operational continuity.
Dubai International (DXB) airport has diverted all inbound flights until weather conditions improve, while departures will continue as scheduled.
Passengers affected by the cancellations will be provided with full refunds for their bookings, as confirmed by the spokesperson. Flydubai advises travelers to stay updated on further developments regarding flight schedules.
