UAE authorities and royals have announced several initiatives aimed at supporting those in need. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President, Prime Minister of UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, has unveiled a significant initiative led by Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum to distribute five million meals from surplus food.
This initiative, launched at Emirates Food Bank, collaborates with 350 hotels and mobilizes a team of 5,000 volunteers to carry out the mission. The Dubai Ruler highlighted the impact of the food bank, stating that it has benefited 35 million people since its inception.
