A video showing large rats spotted in a corner of Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) has gone viral on social media recently.
According to a TikTok video posted by a netizen named “Reynjun,” around five small rats were seen crawling in a corner of NAIA Terminal 3.
As of now, the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) has yet to issue an official response regarding the viral video.
Recently, the MIAA disclosed that the presence of pests at the airport is “unacceptable.” Apart from disinfection efforts, the airport management has reportedly convened its housekeeping, pest control agency, and medical staff to address pest-related issues at NAIA.
This comes after reports surfaced on social media about passengers experiencing issues such as bedbug bites at NAIA. Additionally, videos of rats and cockroaches found inside the airport terminal have also gone viral.
