Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior announced the arrest of 73 individuals on charges of engaging in immoral activities. The arrests were made across 12 different cases and involve people of various nationalities.
The Ministry’s Department of Protection of Public Morals and Combating Trafficking in Persons made the arrests after a period of close surveillance and monitoring. The individuals were detained in several parts of the country for acts described as contrary to public morals.
According to the Ministry, those arrested were involved in these activities in exchange for money.
The individuals have been referred to the appropriate legal authorities for further action. The Ministry has reiterated its commitment to preserving public morals and combating illegal activities in the country.
