Dominga Malinog, at 67 years old, proudly completed her junior high school education in Koronadal, South Cotabato. Despite her age, she persevered in her studies through the Alternative Learning System (ALS).
Her teacher was none other than her son, Wilfred. According to Wilfred, he encouraged his mother to enroll in ALS after noticing her interest in reading and answering exercises in the modules he was preparing for his students.
Once considered Wilfred’s “first teacher” as his mother, Dominga now experienced the unique role reversal with her son guiding her educational journey.
