611 services delivered to OFWs in Ras Al Khaimah during MWO-Dubai’s outreach

A total of 611 individual services were extended to Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) in Ras Al Khaimah during the Philippine Consulate General’s 2025 Consular Caravan, spearheaded by the Migrant Workers Office (MWO) – Dubai and Northern Emirates.

Held at the Hilton Garden Inn, Al Nakheel, on April 12, the one-day caravan brought a full suite of essential services closer to OFWs in the emirate, eliminating the need to travel to Dubai. The MWO-Dubai team was on-site throughout the day, delivering contract verification assistance, OWWA membership and renewal, SSS and Pag-IBIG services, as well as support for distressed Filipinos.

Aside from labor-related services, the caravan also offered passport renewals, notarial services, civil registrations, and marriage-related documentation, through the Philippine Consulate’s mobile team.

The event also featured a Financial Literacy Seminar led by PCG-Dubai, to help OFWs better manage their finances. Later in the day, a Town Hall Meeting was held where attendees were briefed on the online voting procedure for overseas voters.
