38 new OWWA personnel sworn in to strengthen service for OFWs

Thirty-eight newly appointed personnel officially joined the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) through a hybrid oath-taking ceremony led by Administrator PY Caunan at the agency’s central office in Pasay City on September 29.

The new members will serve as additional support in carrying out OWWA’s mandate of protection and welfare for overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and their families, further boosting the agency’s campaign for #SerbisyongMayPuso.

In her message, Caunan underscored the significance of the ceremony as more than a formality, describing it as “a renewed vow of service.” She encouraged the personnel to embody excellence, compassion, and integrity in their roles, stressing their crucial part in advancing OWWA’s mission alongside the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW).

Caunan also highlighted that their service must always reflect dedication and genuine care for the country’s “modern-day heroes” and their loved ones.
