30,000 guests expected as Dubai International Boat Show returns with expanded features

Dubai International Boat Show (DIBS) is set to make waves once again as it returns for its 31st edition at Dubai Harbour from February 19 to 23, 2025. Expected to draw over 30,000 visitors, the event remains the region’s premier maritime lifestyle showcase, featuring more than 200 yachts and watercraft from leading global brands, including Azimut, Ferretti, Gulf Craft, Sunseeker, and Yachts One.

Organized by Dubai World Trade Centre, this year’s DIBS introduces new sections, such as a brokerage space for premium pre-owned yachts and an Innovation Hub to spotlight emerging marine technology startups. The event will also highlight luxury waterfront real estate, sustainability initiatives, and industry networking opportunities within an upgraded hospitality setting.

As part of Dubai’s push for a more eco-friendly maritime sector, the show aligns with the UAE’s Green Agenda 2030, with exhibitors showcasing innovations that support sustainability. Industry leaders emphasize the show’s significance in reinforcing Dubai’s status as a global yachting hub, particularly with a 12.28% increase in visiting yachts during the 2023/2024 season.

New international participants from Croatia, Japan, Luxembourg, Romania, Singapore, and Slovenia will join exhibitors from over 60 countries, broadening DIBS’ international footprint. Attendees can also explore the return of beloved attractions, including the DIVE MENA show for diving enthusiasts, the Proudly UAE initiative celebrating locally-made vessels, and Supercar Avenue, which will display 25 of the world’s rarest high-performance cars.

The event will be preceded by the Dubai Boat Show Leisure Yachting Conference on February 18, gathering 200 industry experts to discuss innovation and future trends in the maritime sector.
