The fifth edition of the UAE SWAT Challenge 2024 is set to witness a robust participation of 24 Arab teams, as confirmed by the Organizing Committee. This year’s competition, taking place at the Training City in Al Ruwayyah, will feature a total of 87 teams hailing from 48 countries around the globe.
The lineup of Arab contenders is impressive, with the United Arab Emirates fielding 11 teams, the Kingdom of Bahrain sending four, while the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the State of Kuwait, and the Republic of Iraq are each contributing two teams. The Kingdom of Morocco rounds off the list with one team.
These teams have not taken their preparation lightly, with all expressing their readiness to face the challenges ahead. Rigorous selection processes, involving tests and field training exercises, have ensured that only the most efficient members represent their respective teams.
As the competition is poised to kick off on February 3 at Training City, spectators can anticipate a thrilling day filled with intense action and tactical prowess on display.
