2025 World Teachers Day Celebration by PAFTE-UAE

The Philippine Association for Teachers and Educators, (PAFTE), Inc. – United Arab Emirates chapter celebrated the “World Teachers Day” with their members, volunteers, successful passers and aspirant examinees. This year’s theme entitled “Recasting teaching as a collaborative profession.”. PAFTE-UAE invited its different batches of successful passers to lead the motivational talks related to the theme at the same time giving piece of advice for its aspiring examinees for the upcoming SPLE LEPT 2026 examination. The successful passers shared their experiences on how they work in collaboration with others which helps them to achieve their goals. Moreover they shared valuable insights on how individual can work as a team by focusing on their strengths in order to help the organization in general. The celebration was organized by PAFTE-UAE led by their Founding Chairman Dr. Fermin Castillo, Jr., LPT, Post-Doc alongside officers namely: Jacinto Gallarte, LPT (Vice-Chairman), Esmeralda Blando, LPT (Secretary), Lullu Celestra, LPT (Treasurer), Pinkie Ocampo, LPT, MAED (Auditor) and Nelson Ternida, LPT, MAED (PRO and Official representative to PPO-UAE).   

The motivational speaker’s line up of the event came from 2024 SPLE LEPT passers namely: Globart Aggabao, LPT, Germiline Fei Bauto, RN, LPT, MA-SPED, Michael Orio, LPT, Normy Silva, LPT and Kristine Ann Taming, LPT. The 2024 batch serve during SPLE 2025 examination at the same time during PRC Foreign Mobile Services this year.

The 2025 SPLE LEPT passers also shared important views as motivational speakers on the theme above led by: Joverick Celso, LPT, Michelle Patdu, LPT, Razel Pelande, LPT, Hyacinth Ella Mae Pugosa, LPT, Maria Cristy Sevellino, LPT, Andrea Tiglao, LPT, and Glen Vinluan, LPT. Meanwhile the technical support group led by Apple Accion, LPT, Johanie Ampuan, LPT, Evangeline Origines, LPT, and Jinny Manit, LPT. Nelson Ternida, LPT, MAED (PRO and Official Representative to the PPO-UAE) also serves as moderator in the event. More than 10 aspirant examinees attended the orientation program in preparation for the SPLE LEPT 2026. PAFTE-UAE thru the years achieved the gold standard in passing percentage with an impressive stint of 68.75% passing rate and 100% passed for its first taker during 2024. While this year PAFTE-UAE achieved a milestone with a Top 6 (rank) by Carina Gee Emerald Duro and overall 71.42% passing rate.
