A tragic accident took the life of a 17-year-old boy from the southern Indian state of Kerala when he fell from a residential building in Ajman. The Ajman Police discovered his body early on Monday morning and subsequently informed his distraught parents.
The deceased was a grade 12 student at the Global Indian School in Ajman. He had recently attended a community event at a local church with his family the evening before the incident. The circumstances surrounding his fall remain unclear at this time.
Social worker Ashraf Thamarassery, assisting the grieving family, stated, “We are in the process of getting the formalities done and paperwork ready. Once completed, the body will be repatriated to India for the funeral.”
The boy leaves behind two younger sisters, his father—a businessman, and his mother, a nurse employed in Dubai.
Tragically, this incident is not the first of its kind. Earlier this year, a 12-year-old girl fell to her death in Dubai while her mother was at work, and last year, a 16-year-old boy tragically lost his life while skateboarding on the top floor of a seven-story car park in the Al Taawun area.
