The winter season in the UAE is expected to start on December 21, according to Dr. Ahmed Habib from the National Centre of Meteorology. As the country moves from summer to autumn, residents can look forward to a gradual drop in temperatures.
The autumn equinox on September 23, 2024, will mark the end of summer, bringing almost equal daylight and nighttime hours. This shift signals cooler weather, making outdoor activities more enjoyable for both locals and visitors.
Dubai’s popular outdoor attractions are also preparing for the cooler months. Dubai Safari Park will open its doors for the sixth season on October 1, while Global Village will begin its 29th season on October 16, running until May 2025. The reopening of Dubai Miracle Garden is also anticipated soon.
These key attractions are set to welcome tourists and residents, ensuring Dubai remains a vibrant destination during the cooler winter months.
